Vertice Company

Cia Vértice is the name given to an ongoing research project by the artist Christiane Jatahy in partnership with her artistic collaborators.

With more than twenty years in existence, the project spans various artistic fields, engaging with artists from the theatre, film, music and visual arts.

The boundaries between theatre and cinema, memory and the present, reality and fiction, documentary and performance serve as springboards to a connection with the present — with our surroundings, with the here and now of the stage and the audience, a presence that is fundamental to all creative work.

From these springboards, we leap into what overwhelms and moves us — personally, socially and politically.
